Public meeting on TMDL for Lake George, SJR above Ocklawaha

The Department of Environmental Protection announces a public meeting to receive comments on the draft nutrient total maximum daily load (TMDL) report for impaired waters in the Middle St. Johns River Basin, to be adopted in Rule 62-304.505, F.A.C. on Monday, July 17, 2017, 3:00 PM at the St. Johns River Water Management District Palatka, Florida.

These TMDLs as site specific interpretations of the narrative nutrient criterion that are to be presented at the public workshop include: Lake George (WBID 2893A), St. Johns River Below Lake George (WBID 2893A5) and St. Johns River Above Ocklawaha River (WBID 2213O).

The draft report for these impaired waters will be placed on the department’s TMDL website by June 16, 2017 and will be provided upon request to interested parties by mail or via email distribution. The department will accept written comments on the draft report through July 28, 2017. Written comments should be directed to:
