Public invited to celebrate new Horticultural Learning Center at Lake County Extension

Join the Lake County Board of County Commissioners in celebrating the grand opening of the Horticultural Learning Center at a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Wednesday, July 14, at 9 a.m.
The new Center, located at 1951 Woodlea Road in Tavares, is a 2,300-square-foot educational building housing public restrooms, a classroom and a staff break area. The primary purpose of this building is to provide an on-site classroom and restrooms for the education, convenience, safety and comfort of citizens participating in educational functions within Discovery Gardens.
