Visit the Wolf Branch Sink waterfall this Sunday, 8/24
Residents are invited to view the waterfall, a "seasonal phenomenon," at Wolf Branch Sink Preserve from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday.
The sink funnels water from a 5-square-mile basin, and more than 12 million gallons of water from the basin disappears into the ground during rainy seasons. Lake County Water Authority staffers will be available to answer questions.
The sink is at the end of Robie Avenue, on the other side of U.S. Highway 441 from Mount Dora limits. Remain on Robie as it becomes a dirt road, following signs.
