Marsh Park Boat Ramp to Lake Yale closed temporarily

EUSTIS — The Marsh Park Boat Ramp to Lake Yale, located at 36545 Yale Retreat Road, Eustis, will be closed until further notice due to a blockage in the canal leading to Lake Yale from the park.

Lake County Parks & Trails Division, the Lake County Water Authority and the Lake County Aquatic Plant Management Division are working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

Most types of boats may be able to launch without issue into Lake Yale from the Lake Yale West Boat Ramp, the dirt ramp located at 39800 Thomas Boat Landing Road. Smaller boats, canoes, kayaks and airboats can launch also from Lake Yale East Boat Ramp, located on Lake Yale Boat Ramp Road.

Parking is limited at both alternative ramps and water levels and/or vegetation may pose an issue for larger boats.
