Marsh Park Boat Ramp closed during repaving

The Marsh Park Boat Ramp, located at 36545 Yale Retreat Road in Eustis, will be closed between Monday, Feb. 8 and Monday, Feb. 29 while improvements are made to the boat trailer parking lot.

Boaters are asked to use the gravel Lake Yale West Ramp, located at 39800 Thomas Boat Landing Road, Eustis, as an alternative ramp for lake access. Alternately, the Lake Yale East Ramp, located at 39400 Lake Yale Boat Ramp Road, is partially blocked with vegetation, but accessible by airboat or shallow draft boats.

Lake Yale is a popular location for anglers fishing for crappie, and is a destination for bass tournaments. The lake is also known for its birding and wildlife viewing, and is often used by paddlers.
