Help rid Lake County of invasive plants Feb. 27th
EUSTIS – Volunteers are invited to join Lake County Parks & Trails, the Lake County Water Authority (LCWA) and the Lake County Cooperative Invasive Species Management Areas (CISMA) chapter in helping to rid the environment of invasive camphor trees and Caesar's weed to mark national Invasive Species Awareness Week, Feb. 21-27.
A team work day will be held from 8 a.m.–noon on Saturday, Feb. 27 at Lake May Reserve, 36300 County Road 44A, Eustis.
Participants are encouraged to wear gloves, sunscreen, hats, boots and long-sleeved shirts. Staff will provide shovels and loppers.
