Join LCWA for ‘dog hike’ at Lake Norris Conservation Area

EUSTIS — Lake County Water Authority naturalists will take up to 15 Lake County hikers and their dogs on a 2-mile hike through the Lake Norris Conservation Area on Jan. 11.

The hike begins at 9 a.m. at the conservation area’s east entrance off Lake Norris Road.

Hikers and well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcome to join the roughly 2-mile hike, which will pass through several different forested communities.

Hikers are asked to bring flea and tick medicine as well as water to protect and hydrate their pets.
