The Adopt-a-Lake Program invites residents to participate in the 2025 Calendar Contest. This is the sixteenth annual Calendar Contest, and the top fourteen photographs submitted will be chosen to be featured in the 2025 calendar.

The guidelines are as follows:

  • All photos must be of a Lake County-named waterbody.
  • A body of water must be somewhere in the image.
  • Photos must be in landscape orientation.
  • Entries are limited to five (5) photos per person.
  • All photos must include the identification of the water body and the photographer's name.
  • The deadline for entries is Friday, November 8.

A panel of volunteers and staff will rate the photographs to select the semi-finalists. Once the semi-finalists are selected, online voting on the Adopt-a-Lake webpage will open to the public.

The Adopt-a-Lake Calendars, which include pictures of Lake County's water bodies, will be available for a suggested donation of $6 from the Lake County Parks and Water Resources Department.

To submit photographs, e-mail them to cathie.catasus@lakecountyfl.gov. If selected as a semi-finalist, a photo release form will be required.
